  I bought a defective Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge here. Within the week I tried bringing it back. The defect is a couple of marks on the screen where it looks like something had been pressed hard up against it. This seems to be the cause of purple streaks that plague my phone as well. When I showed the issues to the two people there at the time, I was told the issue would go away and be fine. I realized they just didn't want to deal with it. I suggest looking over your phone before leaving the store. Also, look at it with the screen turned off under a light.
